We’re looking for a friendly, professional and passionate individual to make their mark as an Online Editor / Assistant Colourist within our busy Picture department.

Soundfirm is one of Australia’s most prestigious post-production companies. We work with local and international filmmakers on a variety of Films, TV Series and Documentaries. No two days are alike!
This is a full-time position, to start immediately or as soon as possible. There will be requirements to work outside of your standard hours.
Key Responsibilities:
ONLINE EDITING – Conform and Online Edit, Confidence Checks, Title/Credits, Execute Basic DI VFX using Fusion, Conduct client attended ‘online’ sessions.
COLOUR - Colour Management, Colour Assist, Colour Grading
WORKFLOW - Development & Support, Optimisation
DAILIES - Supervision
SUPERVISION - Project Scoping, Schedule management, Team Input, Communication
Required Competencies:
Significant experience (usually 5+ years)
Expert knowledge of Da Vinci Resolve / Fusion software
Strong knowledge of relevant software, hardware and colour management
Design and document workflows
Attention to Detail
Highly organised and methodical with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to analyse and troubleshoot technical and creative challenges
Able to work closely and liaise with all levels of stakeholders
Experience providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior team members
Strong artistic and creative sensibilities
Interest in maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of current industry trends
Personal Competencies:
Flexible outlook, able to adapt and respond to constantly changing production schedules
Ability to work gracefully under pressure to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Consistently produce work of a high standard and accept and enact on feedback
Professionalism, confidentiality and diplomacy
Ability and desire to learn new procedures and processes where skills gaps are identified.
