About the role:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Tyro’s key strategic projects. You will be a key team member in large-scale projects and the associated deliverables that positions Tyro at a competitive advantage.
This role is based in our Sydney HQ with a requirement to be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
What you'll do:

Collaborate closely with teams across Technology, Growth Operations, and other Tyro departments (including Sales, Data, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Compliance) to understand, critically evaluate, and document business requirements, rationale, and processes.

Analyse
, understand
and document the complete
process
workflow of partner payments.

Take a practical approach to documenting processes and aligning cross-functional teams on the desired future state of a process or operation.

Utilise process-oriented thinking to identify process inefficiencies within the Tyro environment and improvement opportunities.

Adopt and use process mapping tools that enable cross team collaboration.

Whenever possible, pilot new processes before full implementation to validate their effectiveness and ensure they achieve the desired outcomes.

Understand and document the interdependencies between business processes and technical capabilities.

Develop training materials and support to staff on new processes and procedures.
-
Continuously assess the effectiveness of implemented processes and make necessary adjustments for improvement.

Manage on-going requests and balance tactical enhancements with strategic enhancements.
What you'll bring:
-
Experience in sales operations and commission operations. (This is a must)

Previous working experience in financial services, payments or other regulated industries.

At least seven years of hands-on experience in business analysis, process mapping, and documentation, transforming complex workflows into streamlined, efficient operations.

Experience working with and collaborating across cross-functional teams such as Technology, Growth Operations, Payments, Legal, Finance, Data, and Product.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships across the business to achieve joint goals.

Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent initiatives.
-
Experience in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks.

Experience working with Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office Suite
