About the role
A skilled AEM Software Engineer is needed to lead a high performing development team within the Technology & Operations division. Your role is to brainstorm, analysis, design, explore, build customer facing web applications, API or microservice capabilities for Digital Distribution Platform in support of key strategic initiatives all aimed at uplifting our Digital Insurance Sales and Services capabilities. You will be an active contributor to the Agile software development lifecycle and be familiar with DevOps/Continuous Integration and production deployment processes.
What you'll do
- Develops organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for software construction and refactoring
- Plans and supporting software construction activities for strategic and complex development projects
- Determines domain testing policy and supporting processes including software security testing
- Initiates improvements to test processes and directs their implementation.
- Sets the release policy for the organisation in the context of both development and production/operations
- Supporting design, development and implementation of consistent engineering practice/guidelines and frameworks that build quality, automation and security
- Provide implementing automation, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration, config management and monitoring practices in teams across portfolio
What you'll bring
- Minimum 3 years appropriate industry experience in supporting, advising and mentoring engineering teams in a variety of technical and business domains
- A strong hands-on experience of the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform on Adobe Forms, Adobe Forms Data Model, Adobe Site Pages, Adobe Analytics, Data Integration, CRXDE, AEM Components
- A strong hands-on experience on how to customise AEM Out-of-the-box component, customise authoring dialog, Adobe HTL/Markup
- A deep technical understanding of programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and React JS
