This is a senior position within the Fraud Risk Management Team and is relied upon to be the “face” for fraud management for Optus both internally and externally. The Fraud Risk Management (FRM) team sits within the Internal Audit structure to assist with the developing, directing and refining of operational and strategic fraud risk control environment.
Your day in the life of a Senior Fraud Investigator at Optus
· Perform detailed investigations into allegations of criminal and/or inappropriate behaviour across Optus, its subsidiaries and interests.
· Identification of the fraud control gap that allowed or contributed to the fraud occurring.
· Engage and keep all key stakeholders informed before, during and at the completion of the investigation process.
Your skills to pay the bills
· Extensive investigation experience conducting corporate or criminal fraud investigations.
· Tertiary qualifications in investigations, law or a related discipline.
· A high level of skill and ability to prepare a full brief of evidence, which is capable of being reported to the relevant law enforcement agency.
· Analytical skills and the ability to research and analyse information to arrive at valid conclusions, develop action plans, and make recommendations when appropriate.
