Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Solution Engineer to join our
dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our sales team
to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process. You
will help identify customer needs, demonstrate our solutions, and ensure
a smooth and successful implementation. This role will focus on the
entire portfolio of Salesforce Products.
Key
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements
and provide technical solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value
of Salesforce solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and sellers during
the sales process.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce products and industry
trends.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance your
technical skills and knowledge.
• Work with customers who have up to 500 employees, understanding their
unique needs and challenges.
A Typical Day in the Life:
• Conduct customer discoveries to understand requirements and prepare
for upcoming product demonstrations.
• Conduct a live demo or playback for a prospective customer,
highlighting how Salesforce's solutions can address their business
challenges.
• Collaborate with the sales team to strategise on a new customer
proposal and solution design.
• Attend a training and self led enablement session on the latest
Salesforce product updates.
• Deliver cutting edge assets to scale your impact for sales teams and
customers
• Enable others on your subject matter expertise e.g. Product, Industry
or skill set.
Qualifications:
• Strong technical aptitude and a passion for technology.
• Keen interest in business and strategy, desire to understanding what
makes them tick.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to have:
• Previous experience in a sales, technical or solution engineering role
is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce products and solutions.
• Experience with storytelling, demonstrating, and solution discovery.

Day to Day
Our SMB & MB Account Executives engage with existing customers and new
leads to sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform. They build
positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and decision
makers within their patch, and become naturals at helping customers
realise value from their Salesforce investments.
You will use your new business development skills to develop
opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting.

Partnering with internal teams to drive additional value and share
expertise
- Account tiering, POV mapping & industry mapping

Using multiple channels to reach out to sales opportunities and
uncover net new logo opportunities
- Managing and overcoming objections
- Researching & understanding customer personas and industries
- Managing a large volume of accounts and prioritising appropriately
- Balance competing priorities and timelines
Who you are
-
You will be an established AE who is excited about a career at
Salesforce. Ideally you will have worked with complex sales solutions,
but this isn’t essential as long as you’ve been in an end-to-end quota
carrying role

We don’t need you to have used Salesforce before, but it would have an
advantage. A genuine passion for technology, disruption and innovation
is also ideal.
