How you’ll make an impact
The Marketing function in AMP Australia is critical in understanding our customers, their needs, and aspirations. This function is responsible for developing compelling solutions, offers and experiences for our customers.
The purpose of this role is to support delivery for achieving customer expansion, recognition and engagement targets for Personal Banking, Small Business Banking and Home Lending. This will be achieved by designing, executing, and optimising customer centric, multi-channel lifecycle programs and marketing campaigns to achieve expansion and recognition targets aligned with the Bank’s vision to be a digital-first Bank.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Working with the Senior Marketing Manager, support the creation of the customer marketing strategy for AMP Bank, across Personal Banking, Small Business Banking & Home Lending.
- Support the development of the overarching customer engagement, expansion and retention strategies and seamless implementation working collaboratively with the broader Marketing function and Bank stakeholder group.
- Design and manage customer lifecycle marketing programs, ensuring meaningful and relevant communication at all stages of the customer journey.
- Map and govern best-in-class customer journeys to deliver the optimal customer experience
- Focus channels requiring creative asset development and production, media planning and content creation and production include but are not limited to paid search, social media, email marketing, advertising and owned channels including amp.com.au, MyAMP app, eDMs and NBIs.
- Develop and implement sophisticated campaign strategies and programs, leveraging advanced cell segmentation and design to create highly personalised and targeted offers. Ensure these programs deliver relevant and timely messages to enhance engagement, recognition and loyalty.
- Design programs leveraging full capabilities of Adobe Journey Optimiser (AJO) and collaborate with enablement teams to ensure they’re fully briefed and equipped to execute effectively
- Lead the end-to-end development and execution of digital and direct campaigns with the broader Marketing team and key stakeholder engagement to ensure campaign and content delivery is on time and within budget
- Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new customer expansion and retention opportunities
- Build effective partnerships with key Bank stakeholders to enable close collaboration and a deep understanding of the business and customers
- Ensure all marketing campaigns and activities are consistent with customer value propositions and advertising and creative guidelines.
- Support the timely and accurate tracking, analysis, reporting and optimisation of marketing performance, including Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs), ensuring learnings and insights are incorporated into future campaigns and activities. Provide regular performance updates to the business to demonstrate the achievement of business targets
- Collaborate with broader brand and marketing team, ensuring creative and messaging alignment, consistency, and compliance.
- Work with media and creative agency partners to deliver marketing activities that are engaging, effective and complement brand activities
- Support the management of marketing budget, including forecasting, invoicing, reconciliation and reporting
What you will bring to the team
- Previous 3+ years experience defining, implementing, and optimising digital marketing strategies across channels,
- Preferably Banking sector experience and specifically in Personal (incl lending) & Small-to-Medium Business Banking
- Preferred experience designing marketing programs delivered through Adobe suite
- Experience in delivering personal (incl lending) and small business lifecycle programs preferred
- Customer journey mapping experience required & service design experience ideal.
- Broad technical understanding of direct and digital marketing strategy, CX, channels and platforms, including email, social media, email marketing and in app notifications
- Understanding of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies.
