About the role:
We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to help our Loan Market and own-branded brokers find and keep clients. They will also be pivotal in continuing to build the value of the Loan Market consumer brand.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the marketing team to implement our social media marketing strategy with creative flair. You’ll bring your own ideas to the table and work closely with the design team to create social media calendars that stand out across Australia and New Zealand. You will prepare content across the spectrum of residential and asset/commercial, targeting our range of demographics.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in collaboration with the design team, develop monthly social media content for Loan Market Australia & New Zealand (Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, TikTok).
- Administration of Loan Market Australia and New Zealand corporate social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Create the monthly social media content calendars for Loan Market Australia brokers, Loan Market New Zealand brokers, own-branded brokers and the corporate Loan Market Australia accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Google Business).
- Create and deploy Ad hoc posts in response to news or campaigns. Identify trending topics in the consumer media that we could engage with and enhance via our content.
- Contribute to monthly marketing reports.
- Work with our in-house content creation team to develop video content for social media advertising.
- Manage paid social media consumer program for Loan Market Australia.
- Writing concise advertising post copy for brokers.
- Writing more in-depth LinkedIn articles for select brokers.
To succeed in this role you will bring with you:
- Marketing or communications degree.
- At least 2 years’ experience in digital content marketing, communications, social media or content strategy.
- Experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading cross-channel marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and able to quickly interpret and hold true to brand guidelines.
- Quick (mental) feet - the ability to work to deadlines across multiple projects.
- Good writing skills and ability to write short, snappy and catchy post copy that authentically represents our Loan Market brand.
- Basic design skills using templates to produce social media assets is advantageous.
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise with brokers.
- Ability to interpret and dissect data and statistics to create relevant and helpful social assets.
- Experience using Meta Suite to shape advertising outcomes in line with goals.
- On the forefront of the latest trends and best practices in social media and online marketing.
- Hunger to experiment and grow engagement across channels.
- Must be ambitious, influential, creative and pay close attention to detail.
- Experience in the financial sector is favourable, but not essential.
