The Role
A rare opportunity has arisen within our tight-knit team for a Social Media and Content Coordinator. This role is to manage and enhance Murad’s online presence through various social media platforms. This includes creating engaging content, fostering community interaction and implementing campaigns to promote brand awareness, drive engagement and achieve our financial business goals.
The Social Media Coordinator will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining a positive brand image across all sales channels, while connecting with our audience in a meaningful way, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand awareness and overall business success!
Key Responsibilities
Curating a compelling feed across multiple social channelsCrafting eye-catching content to capture attention for our clinics, clinical skincare products, philosophies & PRO productsIdentifying and activating local brand collabs to drive followers and brand awareness across all channelsCreating and testing engaging and relatable captions that resonate with our followersPlanning & executing campaigns that lead skincare trends, driving awareness and difference for MuradManaging our social community by sparking engagement with influencers and consumers and other local brands, and responding to DMs, comments and requests in our social inboxesCoordinating Murad’s social education opportunities for our Skinfluencers and professional communityDelivering relevant monthly reports to analyse performance and trends in the social space, identifying insights and creating action points from the data storyIdentifying and understanding what makes our customers/ followers tick & creating compelling content around thisAdditional events, marketing and extra activities from time to time

The candidate
A strong and confident administration professional who is reliable and consistent, can be trusted to take ownership for performance. Ability to foster strong relationships with colleagues for maximum productivity and do not mind getting stuck-in to any tasks. Organised and seeks out opportunities to improve functionality and proactively problem solve while meeting our high-performance expectations. A curious disposition, with the ability to follow analysis through to an action orientated conclusion. Conducts themselves with passion, honesty and integrity, whilst demonstrating professional maturity and mutual respect at all times.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge and experience using Canva
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in working with Meta and Tik Tok Business suite
- Previous experience working in an office environment and similar role
- Understanding of the social media environment in Australia
- Previous experience working within Digital Marketing, Social Media, PR and working with external brands is preferred but not required
Desirable qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Communications is desirable.
