This is an exciting 4-month engagement to join Oroton as the Marketing Manager (with a potential for a permanent placement).
In this role, you will establish and maintain a leading marketing strategy to meet organisational objectives, supporting Oroton to hold a leading position in the market by generating awareness of the brand. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Brand, you will be leading and managing all aspects of our brand communication strategy, successfully driving growth in awareness, customer acquisition and engagement through the delivery of consistent creative content and innovative campaigns.
You will be driving the effective management and optimisation of all paid digital advertising and promotional activity to deliver return on investment; creating consistency across all communication touch points in line with brand identity; and demonstrating results from recommended initiatives that positively impact sales, growth and customer experience.
The Role:
- Work closely with the Head of Digital & Ecommerce to develop and implement annual and seasonal digital marketing strategies (domestically and internationally).
- Plan, execute, and manage a marketing communications & activity calendar that aligns brand and product initiatives to drive sales, ensuring consistent messaging across all Australian channels—retail, online, and wholesale.
- Building, growing, and nurturing our online communities on platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
- Plan and execute seasonal communication strategies through digital channels, aligning closely with key business stakeholders and partners.
- Develop and deliver events and activations at a local store level that engage customers and deliver business objectives.]
- Regularly analyse the outcomes of marketing initiatives to assess their return on investment, and make strategic recommendations for future campaigns based on these evaluations.
- Exercise proactive financial management to ensure that marketing expenditures align with business strategies and company expectations, aiming for cost-effectiveness.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary education in marketing or relevant field
- 5+ years performance, agency or retail digital marketing experience, including people management experience
- Experience with premium brands or products, ideally with exposure to fashion, accessories or beauty
- An advocate for digital marketing innovation, demonstrating good technological and digital marketing skills
- Solid contemporary knowledge of digital tools, platforms and channels and a good understanding of technology management
- Strong organisational skills and ability to lead and inspire a team to meet their personal goals, and the department objectives
- Excellent communication skills, confidence and ability to influence key stakeholders to drive change and encourage collaboration
- Ability to process, analyse and utilise large quantities of data efficiently in order to make effective decisions in an agile environment.
