What’s in it for you?
As our Data Analytics Manager in Sydney you’ll build the analytics capabilities for our digital audit and innovation initiatives. You will be using your data analytics and ETL capabilities to support external financial audits, whilst also working with the wider assurance digital team to build new solutions and transform existing capabilities.
- Helping clients to identify and extract required data from complex IT systems including SAP
- and Oracle
- Coach junior staff and be first point of contact for your projects
- Using analytical and visualisation software to access, transform, integrate, analyse and visualise client data to help solve real problems and identify real opportunities through identification of anomalies and unusual patterns and trends in data
- Delivering results by using automated data analytic solutions to deal with large, disparate
- volumes of data, to gain critical insights quickly
- Assisting in the development of additional analytic capabilities within the Assurance Digital Team
What we’re looking for
Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
- Tertiary education qualification(s) in Business, IT or STEM related disciplines
- A minimum of 4-5 plus years’ experience in a data analytics role
- A passion for working with data and learning new methodologies, applications and skills for analysis
- Ability to coach junior staff and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Good written and verbal communication skills and work within a team environment
- Experience with using Alteryx, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft PowerBI, Python, Monarch or
- Spotfire to access, transform, integrate, analyse and visualise data
