THE OPPORTUNITY
A specialist position within the Operations department the Digital Operation Support Officer is responsible for the day-to-day digital operations of our digital advertising assets.
It will see you monitoring and maintaining the digital infrastructure of JCDecaux Australia’s digital advertising assets, ensuring all assets are operational and content is playing properly using the monitoring system and various other operational tools.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
·Remote Managing and monitoring of digital asset both re-actively and proactively identifying issues
·Troubleshoot media player, display screen, communication devices to keep the advertisement panel showing content properly
·Assist local field team to prepare, test digital furniture for quality assurance.
·Compile and update procedures, manuals and instructions relating to digital assets and delivery
·Visit sites as required to troubleshoot when an incident cannot be resolved by field operatives and would require expert knowledge
·Log detected and reported faults in ticketing system
·Communication back to internal and external stakeholders on reported faults
·Returned players from the field analysis, repaired, and returned to stock in the warehouse
·Assist with the commissioning of newly installed digital assets
·Minimize screen downtime through active monitoring and response
·Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve performance of costs
·Manage the ad hoc maintenance requests for 3rd parties.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
You will be someone with demonstrated experience in a technical support role. In addition to:
·Experience with Linux operating systems preferred
·Experience with computer networking
·Understanding of computer hardware components and repair
·Familiar with Microsoft office products such as outlook and excel
·Bachelor in IT/Computer Science/Telecom or equivalent experience preferred.
·Experience in similar monitoring/troubleshooting role of digital component is desirable
