Marketing Manager, Trade and Events
This role is responsible for the strategic planning, management and execution of all trade marketing and event marketing initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. You will lead high-impact programs that directly contribute to Navico Groups™ leading brands success within trade and retail, in the ANZ region.

This role requires a forward-thinking marketing professional with a strategic vision, a passion for events, managing projects and able to work cross-functionally with a large team of passionate individuals across 4 key CBT’s, 18 leading brands, and as part of a small APAC Marketing team. You will need to work closely with Sales and Market Operations to ensure marketing strategies are focused on key brands, sales objectives and growth drivers of the APAC Market Ops team.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Pro Staff Program Management, optimize and re-engage Pro Staff program including scheduling, reporting, and retail training. contract management including budget tracking
- Event management including all major Boat Shows across Australia and New Zealand.
- Develop AUS/NZ event strategy with marketing lead taking into consideration both Market ops and Sales objectives
- Boat show build and design – manage all vendors involved in bringing new event strategy to life, ensure NPI’s are represented on stand with a focus on excellence.
- Ensuring all our sponsored tournaments are consistent with our marketing objectives, and that we have representation at the events through merchandise or pro staff, align with Integrated Marketing manager on event sponsorship.
- Ensure local trade marketing investment is focused on the TOP 10 customer accounts, as well as evaluate growth opportunities
- Implement instore excellence (POD, POS), Training materials to provide the best in-store display solutions, with the most up to date products and POS materials.
- Collaborate with key online customers to deliver strong Navico brand presence across customer websites, ensuring our brands and products our optimized online
- Help Manage fleet of vessels and Lowrance trailer including event logistics, on-water training or content capturing in conjunction with Sales Team
- Continuously evaluate ROI of events and activations and look for market adjacent events and opportunities
