We're stoked to be pioneers in ‘experience based hospitality’ offerings, serving up an incredible combo of seven virtual simulator activities under one roof alongside top notch food and drinks, crafting the ultimate Interactive Entertainment Experience.
After a hugely successful launch of our flagship location at Canterbury League Club November 2023, we are set to open our second venue this September, another four venues in 2025 and a total of 20 within the next three years.
Team Structure:
This role sits within SportsPlus’ corporate head office. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with himself, the COO, Venue Managers, Club Marketing Managers & Agency Partners.
Responsibilities:
- Work with SportsPlus HQ to devise and implement an omni channel marketing strategy across social, email, SMS, website & in venue.
- Lead quarterly / monthly creative planning sessions to develop a forward-thinking marketing calendar.
- Lead planning and delivery of organic social content calendar (with support from our content specialist).
- Assist in the development of in venue promotions.
- Lead weekly collaboration with our performance marketing agency to facilitate and deliver content and copy for our dynamic paid ads strategy.
- Assist in delivering our influencer marketing campaign.
- Coordinate weekly content production efforts in venue/s, working closely with our content specialist to develop and execute captivating visual and written content for marketing campaigns and organic social media channels.
- Execute pre launch marketing campaigns for each new site to ensure a highly successful opening.
- Serve as the liaison between Club marketing teams and SportsPlus HQ, leveraging club-specific insights and opportunities to enhance marketing efforts.
- Spearhead strategic in-venue promotional initiatives to maximise foot traffic and customer participation, collaborating with RSL / Leagues Club marketing teams to align promotions with in Club events / campaigns.
- Work with SportsPlus HQ to develop & implement marketing strategies to attract and engage local schools, sports clubs and businesses to each SportsPlus venue.
- Work with each SportsPlus Venue Manager to ensure in venue promotions are rolled out effectively and on time.
- Devise and execute a comprehensive eDM strategy, crafting 1 - 2 engaging SportsPlus eDMs per month to amplify our brand presence and drive customer engagement.
- Produce cohesive messaging and optimised ad copy to drive conversions on a regular basis.
- Continuously optimise the SportsPlus website for maximum visibility and user engagement, regularly updating it with weekly and monthly promotions to drive traffic and conversions.
- Maintain appropriate balance between developing a scalable marketing engine for SportsPlus’ multi site expansion strategy and localised, Club specific marketing efforts.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all advertising channels and products, maintaining a cohesive brand identity and customer experience.
Experience:
Proven track record of driving successful marketing campaigns and initiatives, preferably in the entertainment, leisure or hospitality industry.
Strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies for scale.
Exceptionally strong social media skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to drive small projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Experience with platforms (or similar ones) such as Salesforce, Klaviyo, Apollo.
