Being part of the RBC Capital Markets’ Client and Marketing Strategy Group, you will support the implementation of APAC brand and marketing strategies, including the planning and execution of conference and event activities.
What is the opportunity?
As a Marketing and Events Analyst, part of the RBC Capital Markets’ Client and Marketing Strategy Group, you will support the implementation of APAC brand and marketing strategies, including the planning and execution of conference and event activities. You will report to the Director of Brand & Marketing for APAC, while working in close collaboration with regional senior business leaders, product groups, and members of the Marketing, Corporate Citizenship & ESG, and Corporate Communications teams both globally and regionally.
What will you do?
- Support the Director of Brand & Marketing in the implementation of the annual marketing, brand, and events strategy to promote RBC Capital Markets in core markets in APAC.
- Support the implementation of marketing and event tactics across all channels, including content and thought leadership, sponsorships, advertising, collateral, email marketing, web communications, promotions and citizenship activities.
- Support the implementation of a calendar of events including proprietary conferences, client entertainment, thought leadership events, sponsorships and citizenship activities and events.
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing and event campaigns, gain insight, assess against goals, and optimize accordingly.
- Support conference and event activities and ensure each are maximized, leveraged, and tracked capturing objectives, audience, tactics, and measurement.
- Work as a key member of the global Capital Markets Marketing team to support the business, promote our product offering and build the Capital Markets’ brand in APAC.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Undergraduate degree in a related field, but preferably in Marketing or Business
- At least 3 years of financial services or professional services marketing experience.
- A sound understanding of finance, business, investments, etc.
- Proven experience in marketing and events, particularly in the delivery of marketing strategies and campaigns and planning and executing events in a corporate environment.
- Superior skill in Microsoft Office, and other industry technologies.
- Strong team orientation and communication skills (written and oral).
- Highly organized and entrepreneurial, with strong drive for customer service.
- Excellent relationships management and partnership development capabilities and skills.
- Able to manage effectively as a member of a global team across multiple time zones.
- Experience managing multiple, high-visibility projects and ability to work under pressure.
