Role Overview
The Social Media Manager of Verve plays a pivotal role in shaping the voice of the brand across various platforms. You will be responsible for creating compelling high-quality content for our digital channels, while also managing and growing our social media presence, engagement and ultimately sales. This role demands a highly creative and passionate visual and written storyteller who can tap into our brands ethos and cut through with engaging content.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies that enhance brand visibility and engagement across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, You tube and Pinterest. Regularly update social channels with fresh content that resonates with our audience.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with Verves online community by responding to comments, messages, and fostering conversations that align with the brand’s voice and values.
- Content Planning: Work closely with the Creative director and Marketing Manager to plan and schedule content that supports the overall editorial calendar and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with Videographers and photographers to produce visually compelling content. Must be comfortable with meeting deadlines.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media performance through analytics tools. Provide regular reports on key metrics, including engagement, follower growth, and content effectiveness, and use insights to refine strategies.
- Copywriting: Write compelling copy that resonates with both brands audiences, in blogs and across our social platform.
- Brand Voice & Consistency: Ensure that all written and social content is consistent with the brand voice of both brands. Maintain a high standard of quality in all content produced.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and Incorporate these trends into the content and strategy for the brands
- Influencer Collaboration: Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance verves reach and influence within the community.
- Content Creation: Come up with, and write engaging, on-brand content for our website, and other digital platforms. This includes feature BLOGs and interviews, Edms and social platforms. Manage talent and co ordinate content shoot days.
Qualifications
- Has own ABN and PLI
- Experience: Min of 5 years experience in writing, content creation, and social media management with proven results
- Skills: Proven results in growing brands social media platform and engagement. A strong portfolio of published work. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and social media platforms and tools, including Photoshop, Xd, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and analytics software.
- Video editing Competency in video editing is required. You do not need to be a master but be able to edit existing content ready to share on socials
- Creativity: A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through both words and visuals.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, organised, and able to work under tight deadlines. A proactive and adaptable team player with a strong sense of initiative.
