Who You Are: You are a master coordinator with a passion for marketing and communications. Your organizational skills are top-notch, and you thrive in an environment where you can manage multiple tasks, create/curate content, and keep everything on track.
The Role: Initially being offered as a 6-month maternity leave cover, our Marketing/Comms Coordinator will play the pivotal role in our internal comms team. This is a 3-day-a-week position and will be focussed on enhancing our brand's presence and voice both internally and externally. You will be responsible for maintaining our website content, assisting in developing compelling case studies and blogs, preparing/managing award entries, managing our social media platforms, and creating engaging content for our monthly EDMs.
Responsibilities:
- Case Studies: You'll be the go-to person for keeping our case studies updated. This involves working with the Brand, Digital and Media teams to compile case study content, copywriting, ensuring they are web-ready, and uploading to our website.
- Awards Coordination: Manage the timeline of award submissions, prepare entry criteria, and collaborate with the teams to assist in preparing submissions.
- Blog Coordination: You'll be responsible for coordinating blog content. This includes brainstorming topics, managing submissions from the team, editing as required, writing blogs yourself and ensuring all are SEO-friendly.
- Social Media: Manage our Instagram and LinkedIn accounts. You'll share our latest work, case studies, blogs, and assist in developing our social media presence.
- Newsletter and Podcast: You'll provide support in curating content for our newsletter (writing engaging content, compiling recent work and relevant links) and assist with podcast production, from guest management to social media promotion.
- Website maintenance: You’ll be responsible for maintaining our website, from flagging any issues/bugs, coordinating developer tasks, copy edits and adding new team members as required.
- CRM Assistance: Help manage client updates, invitations, and surveys using HubSpot to maintain effective communication.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Experience in copywriting and/or an interest in developing this skill (blogs, case studies, PR articles, social media captions etc).
- Creative and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Capable of working independently and managing your own workload, as well as the ability to communicate and be an effective member of a team.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field – desired but not essential.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, HubSpot, Asana is highly desired
