What you’ll be doing
We are looking for a passionate and proactive individual who can own all marketing and events activity for Business Applications. Someone that is confident working with management, marketing, sales and technical teams, plus external agencies and technology partners to shape and deliver the marketing program to drive both business unit and corporate objectives.
This opportunity is for a marketer to step up and move into a role where they become the trusted adviser within the business unit for all things marketing, events and communications related.
• Own the Business Applications marketing plan and manage the day-to-day execution of
the plan. This covers education, manufacturing, change management, workplace health & safety, HR & payroll, and professional services.
• Work with the corporate marketing team and other business unit marketers to achieve relevant corporate-level marketing objectives (e.g., service and solutions brand awareness, optimised website content).
• Work with internal and external team members/agencies and technology partners to develop and execute marketing content and campaigns via various channels.
• Identify, organise and manage key business unit, industry and partner conferences and events throughout the year, and report back on success.
• Manage the CRM alongside sales, as it pertains to marketing activity.
• Drive account-based marketing activity for the business unit, working with salespeople to identify key client target accounts.
• Report on key marketing activity and performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
What will make you successful in this role?
• Marketing-related degree (ideally with some digital marketing training)
• Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in marketing and communications role(s) with key skills
in:
o Development and execution of content marketing, channel strategy and
execution
o Digital marketing campaign execution, measurement and optimisation
o Ability to write and edit communications pieces (e.g. presentations, brochures,
articles, social posts, website copy)
o Strong organisational skills and ability to self-manage time and priorities
o Confidence in communicating with executive team and other relevant managers
o Social media and client engagement marketing (email marketing)
o Results orientated with experience reporting on marketing execution
o Experience using HubSpot (or similar) for campaign execution & lead nurture
journeys beneficial
o Website content management experience (eg WordPress) beneficial
o LinkedIn and Google ad campaign experience beneficial
• Self-starter and a strong team player
• Great connector of people, able to build rapport and relationships easily
• Naturally strong in planning and project management
• Highly literate, strong verbal and written communicator
