Your new opportunity
The Senior Category Marketing Coordinator- Travel is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the annual category marketing strategies for General Travel products (excluding Insurance) to ensure effective and efficient targets are set and growth aspirations are achieved. This role is for a passionate, strategic marketer with a commercial mindset that wants to be part of a high performing team, in one of the largest marketing departments in South Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the travel strategy.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities to grow the travel business.
- Manage key supplier marketing partnerships and deliver activity in a timely manner.
- In collaboration with the Campaign team, ensure planned advertising and media delivers on the Travel strategy, and report on campaign and sales performance.
- Establish and work towards the fulfilment of Travel targets.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

About you

For this role, we’re also looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications with a degree in Marketing, Business or similar.
- Experience in marketing and / or category management, with demonstrated hands-on experience in developing and preparing strategic category plans.
- Knowledge of the Travel category beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with and interpret data.
- Skilled performer in leading efforts around product and service category segmentation, positioning, targeting, and objective setting.
