The Opportunity
The Digital Marketing Specialist (Email & CRM) will be tasked with driving the exponential growth of UNIQLO’s direct marketing efforts and customer database, with a key focus on email and app push communications. We are looking for a highly motivated team member who will play a key role towards elevating UNIQLO’s sales and engagement with our loyal customers. Working alongside dynamic local and global teams, you will be part of a highly ambitious team that will shape the future of our CRM strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop email and app content calendar and growth strategies in alignment with UNIQLO’s business goals
- Build loyalty through the creation of engaging email and app marketing content to elevate our brand and products
- Thoughtful storytelling, copywriting and asset selection to help educate customers on our LifeWear philosophies and values
- Ensure cross functional alignment between digital marketing, eCommerce, store operations and merchandising teams to ensure all activities are aligned with overarching business plans
- Customer journey/segmentation planning and analysis with CRM teams
- Identify new opportunities to increase O2O sales, sessions, store visits and engagement
- Play a key role in new customer acquisition, and email + app database growth initiatives
- Manage relationship with our global headquarters to continuously improve and innovate, setting new global standards
- Optimise delivery of email and app triggers
- Monitor and report on email and app performance
- Continuous A/B testing and content optimisations
Skills
- Proficient in utilising project management tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Strong copywriting + written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate skills in Google Analytics and other reporting tools such as Power BI
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strategic thinking with an analytical mind and business and financial acumen
- Ability to be agile and multitask in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of Marketing Automation tools such as Adobe Campaign, Salesforce, Klaviyo, etc.
- Deep understanding of retail customer trends preferred
- Comprehension of e-commerce and retail merchandising preferred
- Reference to working in cross-cultural environment is desirable
Experience
- Minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience in email and app marketing or a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in developing content calendars, email briefs and campaign management
- Experienced in customer segmentation and personalisation
- Keen eye for selecting assets to maximise engagement and performance
