About the roles:
- A wide variety of TMT matters: telecommunications, IT, e-commerce, consumer protection and data protection law.
- Advising listed and unlisted entities, including telecommunications providers, software and IT vendors, financial services organisations, airlines and resource and utility companies, as well as clients in the public sector.
- Additionally, work on intellectual property protection and management, the development of new brands, franchising and compliance, privacy and compliance and trade mark matters in Australia and internationally.
The ideal candidates:
- Two roles due to growth: Lawyer (2+ PQE) and Senior Associate (5+ PQE)
- Relevant experience in TMT ideally from a well-regarded law firm (IP experience desirable but not essential)
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, enthusiastic about the technology sector, commercial nous and solid drafting skills.
