The role
A Senior Marketing Coordinator will coordinate, organise, and execute a yearly marketing plan, and support the sales team under the leadership and direction of a Marketing Manager. This role is multi-disciplinary, requiring the Senior Marketing Coordinator to successfully execute integrated marketing campaigns, organise and coordinate conference and workshop participation, whilst also ensuring marketing collaterals are available, organised and up to date. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Execute and coordinate and plan with the Marketing and Product Management Team
- Provide guidance by mentor, including proofing, marketing messaging and marketing planning to the Marketing Coordinators and Marketing Assistants within the team
- Regularly report on Execution of the marketing plan
- Regularly liaise with internal and external stakeholders in order to:
- Ensure marketing activities are executed to plan and on time.
- Ensure events are coordinated and executed to plan
- Organise appropriate collaterals and marketing resources, ensure these are kept up to date and managed in online repository
- Where required, coordinate and manage training and workshops in Australia with Executive Team and Sales and Marketing Team.
- Keep abreast of the latest market trends and innovations in healthcare, medical devices and marketing
- Utilise all CRM and EDM systems in conjunction with execution of role, including assisting with keeping the systems up to date.
- Maintaining marketing systems knowledge, and proactively engaging in training opportunities to improve marketing systems knowledge
- Product support specialist – Determine training, service and marketing needs of clients.
- Pricing, marketing, plan – Corporate account management support
- Strategies, conferences, products, promotional planner – trade activations, field activation, forecasting
- Region specific marketing plan – sales rep activities.
- Training centre management – external marketing & sales.
- Training program development – flyers, making sure everything coordinated
About you
- Education: Tertiary qualifications in Marketing
- Experience: 3 + Years’ experience in a marketing coordinator or similar role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Product and clinical expertise in core product portfolio and therapeutic areas is desirable
- Ability to lead others as a senior member of the team
- Excellent copywriting skills, proofing and grammar
- Proven track record and ability to execute a detailed marketing plan
- Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using Salesforce, Hubspot and executing EDM or equivalent marketing automation systems
- Experience managing and coordinating events
- Experience posting and moderating on social media platforms
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
