About the role
We’re building a digital-first growth engine for our fast-growing scale-up and looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to help us achieve some ambitious goals in 2025 —including driving a 100% year-on-year increase in marketing-sourced revenue.
Reporting to the VP, Marketing you’ll refine and optimize our current demand generation strategies, enhance lead quality and process, and implement innovative acquisition and content initiatives.
Sales alignment and partnering, and a tenacity to get closer to our ICP audience and enhance lead to SQL conversion, will enable you to be a successful contributor to the business.
You are an independent thinker with a vision to scale the function alongside business growth. The role has potential to step into a broader marketing leadership role overseeing demand generation and product-driven growth.
- Lead development of awareness, demand generation and nurture programs, delivering against an established strategy and growth targets.
- Own and optimise SEO, CRO, SEM (and other digital channels) to significantly boost funnel growth and progression, with a keen focus on driving down lead and MQL cost.
- Review, refine and optimise our lead nurturing strategy and attribution model to drive funnel conversion, utilising Plexus’ leading tech stack of Marketo, Salesforce and Outreach.
- Own Plexus’s instance of Marketo and ensure all campaigns and processes across the platform are enabled for scale.
- Plan and develop - in partnership with the Marketing leader and subject matter experts - thought leadership, demand generation and evergreen content (e.g. articles, guides, eBooks, white papers, webinars) for full funnel, persona-based content marketing.
- Own, measure and track success of all initiatives including marketing funnel, campaign and channel effectiveness, being data-driven and a trusted voice to the business on marketing performance.
- Improve and manage our lead hand-off process, empowering SDRs with comprehensive lead insights, delivering a 20%+ improvement in sales accepted leads and opportunities.
- Improve our online acquisition and conversion funnel for Promotion Wizard, delivering 30% of all Promotion Wizard revenue via self-registrations.
Your Background
We are seeking a seasoned Growth Marketing professional with 8+ years of B2B experience, within SaaS, tech, or even better, legal or financial tech platforms. You will have built, implemented and successfully executed best-in-class, digital-first marketing strategies before, likely in businesses slightly larger than ours. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of best practice and will be able to take what we’ve already built and make it great.
This role requires a balance of strategy and execution - you’ll need to be equally comfortable on the tools as you are contributing to strategic planning with senior executives. You will also have a demonstrated history of working cross-functionally with SDRs and a broader Sales organisation.
Marketo and Salesforce experience would be highly desirable, along with other leading marketing automation platforms like HubSpot.
The role is open to either Melbourne or Sydney.
