The role involves managing the ongoing growth of the business, ensuring that our client's offerings are at the forefront and maintaining the company's status as the leading supplier of ceiling solutions and represents a rare opportunity for exceptional senior sales professional.
This role will report directly to the General Manager – Australia & New Zealand and you will be a pivotal member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Ambassadorship:
- Lead and inspire a culture of Sales Excellence that represents the company brand positively and raising overall brand awareness. Maintain a presence that is active, engaged, and visible to employees, customers and group companies. Serve as the foremost champion for the business.
- Drive Sales Growth: Lead & execute sales strategies to grow revenue across the business. Take ownership of high revenue opportunities.
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that align with the company’s objectives, focusing on project delivery and key account management. Develop, enhance, and grow the business and its value to shareholders, clients, and people.
Lead the ANZ Sales team:
- As a role model, live the company’s values each day through collaborative yet decisive leadership, combined with an ability to adapt styles to suit circumstances.
Collaborative Leadership:
- Work closely with the General Manager and other departments to ensure sales and marketing strategies align with overall company initiatives.
Sales Process Optimization:
- Ensure our clients experience a seamless and professional end-to-end experience whenever they deal with Armstrong, by continuously reviewing and improving sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
About you:
- Previous Experience in a National Sales, Regional Sales, or General Management in the construction, building industries (minimum 5 years)
- Strong exposure to omni-channel distribution
- Solutions seller – natural spatial visualisation skills and the ability to share the vision
- Gifted and engaging communicator
- Formal sales education – preferably a Business or Marketing Degree (or equivalent)
- Technical qualifications or significant experience – architectural, drafting, engineering or trades
- Commercial/Financial acumen and experience
- Respected and willing networker across key client personnel and industry associations
- Skilled in mediation and conflict management
- Leadership or substantial involvement in successful change management programs
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions
- Demonstrates clarity and confidence by being genuine and decisive
