WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Our Data Mechanics work as part of multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate with designers, other analytics team members, Data engineers, business subject matter experts and technology delivery teams to deliver strategic research projects from design to execution. The nature of these projects changes as ideas and concepts mature, ranging from research, proofs-of-concept and the art-of-the-possible to the delivery of real-world applications for our clients.
They work on the entire lifecycle of research projects; developing the designs with team leads, collaborating with business experts for business understanding, working with analytics consultants and platform engineers for solutions and with technology teams for prototyping and client implementations.
You will have a passion for data and technology, be prepared for a hands-on technical role and be hungry to learn and develop their skills. You will be expected to follow the key technology trends in the analytics domain, understand the related business implications and nurture and share new ideas. You will be working on projects that run the gamut of BigData, AI, ML and DL Managed services to some of the leading teams and clients in the world.
YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science, or a related scientific discipline
- Hands-on data analytics experience, ideally including exposure to areas such as statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining and unstructured data analytics
- Knowledge of statistical and related tools/languages such as R, SAS, Python or similar
- Awareness of techniques and tools for working with large data sets such as MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive and equivalent technologies
- Experience with or exposure to Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Neuromorphic Computing, Cognitive Computing &/ or Artificial Intelligence
- Ability to work in a global collaborative team environment
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- NV1, NV2 Security Clearance Desirable
