The Opportunity
The Digital Group Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing the sales revenue from a designated portfolio of advertisers/marketers. This entails leading a sales group, formulating and implementing strategies and communications to meet Seven West Media revenue and yield goals and market share and undertaking sales activities that enhance the Seven Network, Seven Media Group and Seven West Media brands.
Based in Sydney, you will collaborate closely with our Digital Sales team and report directly to the Digital Sales Director for NSW & VIC. You’ll be:
- Build robust long-lasting relationships with advertising agents, media consultants, marketers and advertisers to reach and exceed advertising sales targets.
- Manage and develop sales staff and processes within the designated span of control.
- Monitor and report group members performance and take corrective action where necessary.
- Share information, data, reports, market intelligence that help grow the revenue of the department, network and Seven Media Group more broadly.
- Fulfil other duties as required by management and other departmental personnel as requested.
About You
You will be a strategic, engaging, and results-driven Digital Group Sales Manager with a passion for media and sales. You also have:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, ideally in media, advertising, or marketing.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong time-management & organization skills to ensure that Group / Network and customer objectives are accomplished effectively within timeframe given. Ensure group administrative duties within portfolio are carried out efficiently & in a timely manner.
- Customer Focus & Sales Ability that demonstrate an understanding and executive of a “customer-first” approach.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of OZTAM and industry software is a plus.
- A qualification in Business, Marketing, or related fields is well regarded.
