Job Description
The Team and Opportunity
Webjet strives to be at the leading edge of technology, developing solutions to meet the travel needs of our customers. We have evolved our architecture into cloud-native microservices hosted on Azure. Our product-focused delivery teams are self-contained and have end-to-end ownership of their product. “You build it, you ship it and you own it” is core to the Webjet way.
In this role you'll be:
- Collaborating with UX & Product teams to deliver high quality web products
- Responsible for creation of reusable UI components, templates & deliverables
- Writing clean, maintainable code & following best practices & software development guidelines
- Ensure our web products are optimized & work consistently across different platform and web browsers
- Writing technical documentation & guidelines to maintain UI products
- Helping to drive the engineering rhythm and process of delivering high quality UI
Desired Skills and Experience
What we love to see:
- Strong knowledge & experience of HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- Advanced level proficiency in ReactJS, Typescript, Redux & Webpack
- High level attention to details and the ability to build responsive & cross-browser web components & page templates
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, focusing on user & developer experience
- Experience using GIT for version control
- Knowledge of Docker, GitHub Action, CI & CD is desirable.
