You will be responsible for designing and implementing new infrastructure in the cloud and in the on-prem data centers. Build, implement and operate network management solutions. Provide 3rd level technical support for the network operations teams. Provide guidance and analysis to Business Units.
Some of the awesome things you’ll be involved with:
- Design and implement Iress network solutions in the data center and AWS cloud.
- Analyze complex problems and assist with resolutions.
- Create and document relevant network standards and processes.
- Provide consultancy to Business Units on Network technology and architecture.
- Build and maintain in-house network management tooling.
- Provide Layer 3 Network Support and assist with troubleshooting complex issues, during and after business hours.
What you will bring:
- Experience in AWS Cloud networking.
- Experience in scripting (e.g. in Python, Javascript).
- Solid understanding of Devops practices.
- Interest in automating the setup and management of network devices and infrastructure.
- Good understanding of all networking technologies.
- Good understanding of IT security fundamentals and the ability to manage Internet connected Firewalls with large and complex rule sets.
- Ability to define and enhance Network Security strategies.
- Good understanding of LAN-based sniffer products and traffic flows for analyzing IP network traffic.
- Good understanding of http and other web based protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, including the ability to communicate with non-technical customers.
- Take ownership of problems and work through all the issues to ultimately resolve the issue.
- Enthusiasm/passion towards IT technology in general.
- Ability to comprehend, contribute to and articulate technology strategy.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as work proactively and collaboratively with technical teams.
- Ability to work under pressure.
