The role:
We are looking for a Talent Lead to fulfil a full-time position based in Sydney. This is a business-facing strategic role that requires strong commercial and TA expertise to provide insights and influence business leaders on all strategic TA-related matters.
You will be responsible for hiring all new roles and managing the entire recruitment process end-to-end. You’ll also work with the Chief of Staff to develop the overarching talent acquisition strategy, scoping, developing delivering projects that may include talent hiring criteria, employer branding, graduate programs, hiring manager training and inclusive hiring initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 10 years’ recruitment experience (either within agency or internal - ideally both)
- Results-Oriented: Proven ability to meet strict headcount targets and hiring timelines while maintaining quality.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to engage candidates and influence internal stakeholders effectively.
- Detail Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure strict processes are followed, thus ensuring a consistent experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple job requisitions and stakeholders - through reporting, rapport building and communication.
- Collaboration: Strong desire to partner with the leadership team & hiring managers, and not just as a 'transactional recruiter'.
- Data-driven: approach to hiring utilising insights from reports around time to hire, advertising ROI, sourcing channel effectiveness, pipeline capability, candidate experience and recruitment costs.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to proactively identify hiring challenges and deliver creative, practical solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with leadership, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Curiosity for AI: A general interest in AI and its transformative impact on business workflows.
