About the role:
This hands-on role focuses on managing remunerations and benefits and supports P&C operations to attract, retain, and reward talent whilst ensuring compliance with company goals. It drives operational excellence by optimising HR systems, enhancing the employee experience, and providing data-driven insights on pay structures, benefits, and total rewards to ensure hipages offer competitive and equitable remuneration practices that support overall organisational success.

How you will add value:
Compensation & Benefits:
- Coordinate our annual salary review process.
- Become the expert in our salary benchmarking tool (AON). Regularly audit the mapping of current job roles to align with AON salary benchmarking. Complete survey data submission on time.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking and provide recommendations to maintain pay equity and competitiveness.
- Complete effective tracking and communication of our current Employee Share Option Plan.
- Assist with the documentation and communication of all C&B related items.
- Oversee our bonus cycles and leader incentive plans.
- Assist in managing the communication of new incentive plans, salary packages and other C&B initiatives.
- Administer employee benefits programs and perks, ensuring smooth delivery and effective communication. Make recommendations to improve benefits on an ongoing basis to increase utilisation.
- Act as the main point of contact for compensation and benefits queries, resolving issues promptly.
- Automate or streamline pay and benefits processes to improve operational efficiency.
P&C Processes:
- Design and improve end-to-end P&C processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with business goals.
- Act as a subject matter expert on operational P&C practices and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance the employee lifecycle experience, including onboarding, offboarding, and performance review processes.
- Streamline transactional HR activities and payroll processes in collaboration with the payroll team.
- Look at continuous ways to improve our admin process at hipages and ensure we're operating at maximum efficiency.
System Management and Reporting:
- Manage all P&C systems, including implementation, effectiveness, and reporting to ensure accurate data entry, system optimisation, and streamlined workflows.
- Manage ROI with system use and make recommendations to increase utilisation across all systems.
- Lead system upgrades, integrations, and troubleshooting in collaboration with external vendors.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity across HR systems and tools, ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
- Manage ad-hoc system implementations.
Data and Reporting:
- Conduct monthly data audits to ensure employee data accuracy and completeness is regularly audited.
- Collect, analyse, and report on P&C metrics for all departments, such as headcount, top talent, talent acquisition, employee attrition, diversity, and onboarding/exit data.
- Ensure P&C reporting is best-in-class, timely and accurate and provides meaningful insights.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of compliance-related reports.
- Create dashboards and reports for leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with company objectives.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in people operations and compensation and benefits or a related HR function
- Proven experience managing and optimising HRIS platforms, ATS tools and LMS Systems
- Strong background in end-to-end HR operations
- Proficiency in generating and analysing HR reports to guide decision-making and improve processes
- Demonstrated ability to streamline and improve P&C systems and workflows
- Proven experience designing and implementing pay structures, incentive plans, and benefits programs.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis to manage budgets and compensation data
- Track record of leading compensation projects, such as salary reviews or benefits audits
- Knowledge of market trends and best practices in compensation and employee rewards
- Technically savvy with various software packages (experience with Confluence & Google Suite preferred)
