Job Description
Join Nine's Television Finance team as a Finance Business Analyst, reporting to the Head of Finance – TTV Content & Radio. This part-time role plays a key part in managing the commercial distribution of Nine’s iconic programs, including shows like The Block, Married at First Sight, The Summit, and McLeod’s Daughters. These productions are commercialised through licensing, distribution deals, and merchandising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-end reporting, cashflow management, and variance analysis for revenue and expenses.
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts, balance sheet reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
- Day-to-day management of revenue and expenditure, including royalty reporting and payments.
- Preparation of royalty distribution statements, quarterly ABS surveys, and ad hoc financial reporting.
- Presentation of monthly and full-year forecast results to key stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the finance team.
- Ensure compliance with control frameworks and evolving standards.
Qualifications
What we would like to see on your resume:
- Qualified Accountant (CA or CPA) with exceptional reconciliation and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience using Microsoft D365, and TM1 applications is highly desirable
- Strong communication, time management, and prioritisation skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and commitment to high-quality outputs.
- Experience in the Television or content production industries is desirable.
