The opportunity
We are excited to invite applications for the role of
Director Agency Platform (ART) Government Technology
Platforms, within Digital NSW as it transforms to become the state's
trusted partner for digital enablement. This is a senior leadership
role that will be critical to leading through the implementation of
our new value-based operating model while ensuring specific sector
impacting program outcomes continue to be delivered to a high
standard.
Reporting to the Director Group Agency Platforms (Solution Train), this
role provides strategic leadership and direction for the end-to-end
management of a portfolio of integrated platforms and digital products
(Agile Release Train) that underpin 24/7 services across all-of
government.
This role is critical in ensuring customer-centric outcomes and
joined-up experiences are achieved. You will be accountable for
ensuring project timelines are met whilst aligning solutions to core
and common platform principles. You will advocate for creating
sustainability and future resilience across a variety of technologies
all requiring ongoing advocacy to ensure funding and resourcing levels
can be maintained.
This role is critical in ensuring consistency, continuous improvement
and effective delivery of strategic initiatives that support
organisational wide objectives.

What you will bring to this role
-
Proven leadership in product-oriented contexts, including driving
process, system and culture improvements to increase product team
productivity and effectiveness
-
Extensive knowledge and experience in servant and transformational
leadership to deliver critical services and outcomes
-
Extensive experience in delivery of digital platform improvement
across a range of technologies
-
Proven digital delivery experience including effectively managing
completing outcomes in a constrained environment
-
Demonstrated effectiveness in managing complex multi-million-dollar
budgets and delivery
-
Experience in leading and managing program governance in a large
organisation, government experience is highly desired
-
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in operating within a Scaled
Agile Framework (SAFe).
Essential requirements
Appointment may be subject to restrictions and the satisfactory
