We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as a Senior Architect reporting to the Senior Manager of Architecture.
A bit about your role
The Senior Architect in the System Engineering & Operations (SEO) OSS Architecture function at nbn is responsible for developing and managing the strategy and architecture of critical systems. This role involves creating technology roadmaps, making complex architectural decisions, and formulating implementation patterns.
The Senior Architect collaborates with various teams to transform business operations through IT, covering network technologies, software infrastructure, security, and applications. Key responsibilities include evolving system strategies, developing solution blueprints, managing technical delivery, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Network Assurance & Optimisation, the Senior Architect is a technical leader and innovator.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate has a strong background in Networks or IT software and extensive experience as a senior or enterprise architect in OSS domains. They have led complex technology projects and understand a wide range of technologies and industry practices. Key qualifications include expertise in cloud-native and microservices architecture, knowledge of Telecom networks, technical delivery management experience, and strong stakeholder communication skills. They excel in collaborating with customers and stakeholders to drive business improvements through technology innovation and possess leadership qualities to inspire through uncertainty.
