About The Team
Our Grocery & Retail business is a startup within Uber, a team focussed
on growth and innovation, but with the support and leverage of Uber’s
large global ridesharing and delivery businesses. We own the delivery of
everything that isn’t restaurant food - think groceries, essentials,
alcohol, pharmaceuticals, and (in the future) many more retail
categories… We have bold ambitions for our Grocery & Retail business
globally, having already scaled it to a $10b AUD ARR turnover and growing
at 40%+ YoY – and we’re really only just getting started!

and unlock the “power of the platform” e.g., sharing consumer insights,
running joint Marketing efforts, improving our Membership program etc.

and some of which are owned by cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing,
Merchant Ops & Commercial teams) to achieve shared strategic
objectives
-
Systematically identify and proactively improve process inefficiencies
within the team and in adjacent teams to ensure we are scaling our
efforts and impact

in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with many competing
priorities

Ability to identify business problems and potential solutions based on
data and frameworks
-
Strategic focus and vision; comfort identifying which projects the team
should prioritise, gaining leadership buy-in and enabling the team to
reach goals quickly

the job done and bias towards action

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to
translate data into actionable insights
