About the role
The Customer Success Lead will oversee a high-performing team dedicated to managing and strengthening relationships with key merchants within Tyro’s payment acquiring ecosystem. This role is critical in driving revenue growth, ensuring seamless service delivery, and identifying opportunities to enhance payment solutions for our merchants. Combining leadership, strategic thinking and hands-on management, the Customer Success Team Lead will play a key role in supporting merchant needs while driving growth and retention.
What you'll do

Lead and develop a high-performing team to drive merchant satisfaction and revenue growth.

Drive account growth and retention by identifying upsell, cross-sell and new business opportunities.

Build and maintain strong merchant relationships to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction.

Analyse market trends and performance data to identify opportunities and report insights to leadership.

Advocate for merchants internally and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings.

Stay ahead of payment industry developments to provide expert guidance on products, technologies, and compliance.
What you'll bring

Proven experience in a people leadership role, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

Strong background in customer success, account management, or relationship management, ideally within the payments, fintech, or financial services industry.

Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including integrations, payment processing, and merchant acquiring.

Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive business growth.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence key decision-makers.

Problem-solving and commercial acumen, with experience identifying opportunities for revenue growth and retention.

Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and merchant success.
