About the Role:
As our Head of Marketing, you will take ownership of ECA’s corporate marketing strategy, oversee branding and digital marketing, and drive impactful partnerships. This role is critical in positioning ECA as a leader in international education and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Develop and implement ECA’s corporate marketing strategy to enhance brand positioning.
- Lead marketing efforts for new business ventures
- Identify and appoint new marketing resources as needed for business expansion.
- Manage and negotiate corporate sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and partnerships.
2. Public Relations & Media Engagement
- Develop and implement public relations strategies to boost brand recognition.
- Prepare and distribute media releases for key announcements and events.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
- Ensure ECA’s presence in industry publications, news articles, and press events.
3. University Partner Relations & Marketing Coordination
- Serve as the primary marketing liaison between ECA and its university partners.
- Align marketing initiatives with partner branding guidelines and expectations.
- Develop and present joint recruitment and marketing plans to university stakeholders.
- Lead the creation of co-branded marketing materials and performance reports.
4. Digital & Online Presence
- Approve the annual marketing budget and campaign calendar, ensuring cost-effective allocations per business unit.
- Oversee website management, SEO strategies, and digital performance tracking.
- Manage paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Oversee social media strategy and engagement across corporate and study centre accounts.
5. Collaboration with Student Acquisition & Leadership
- Align marketing efforts with recruitment objectives in coordination with the Head of Student Acquisition.
- Mentor and support Marketing Officers and Coordinators, both offshore and onshore, ensuring optimal resource allocation and team efficiency.
- Report directly to the Vice President of Student Acquisition (VP SA) and CEO Office.
- Collaborate with university marketing teams to maintain brand consistency.
As the successful candidate you will ideally have:
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong expertise in corporate marketing strategy, brand management, and partnerships.
- In-depth understanding of the ESOS Act and the National Code (National Code, Standard 1 & 2), ensuring all marketing activities comply with education regulatory frameworks for international student recruitment.
- Strong leadership experience in managing and mentoring a culturally diverse marketing team, fostering an inclusive work environment and leveraging cross-cultural perspectives for global outreach.
- Experience in digital marketing, SEO, and paid advertising campaigns.
- Proven ability to manage public relations and media engagement initiatives.
- Experience working with university partners and ensuring compliance with branding guidelines.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a marketing team.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skill
- Proven experience working with the South Asian market (India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal) in international student recruitment, including an understanding of regional marketing strategies, education trends, and student mobility patterns.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
