The Test Manager role requires a resourceful, innovative, and critical thinking across enterprise scale environments and ability to provide testing leadership across multiple programs in a highly regulated and complex environment. A strong background in Superannuation and Insurance systems will be highly advantageous.
- Minimum 10+ years in a test management position in complex E2E integrated financial platform with digital self service solutions (web portals, iOS and Android mobile apps, APIs and web services)
- Demonstrate strong thought leadership, strategic thinking and effective communication in driving and uplifting Quality through all stages of the SDLC – and within the Test practice.
- Extensive experience in building process, practices and test team in distributed delivery model.
- Strong test management background within a fast-paced business and in complex IT application landscape.
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline and tools such as Azure Devops and accessibility testing (WCAG) exp highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience managing automation testers and teams in multiple locations, time zones and diverse backgrounds.
- Hands on experience in improving Testing & QA capabilities with a strong awareness of industry developments and best practice.
- Experience in managing a multi-vendor engagement
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial / business acumen.
- Experience delivering via Agile methodology, using JIRA and Confluence or similar tools.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.
- Certification in Domain/Testing/Delivery methodology like ISTQB, Agile, ASFA
- Capable of managing high pressure, competing demands and short timelines, with the willingness to be flexible.
