Brief Job Description
As the sales consultant here at Neighbourhood you will be responsible for consistently winning new business via inbound and outbound initiatives, proposing a wide range of digital marketing solutions (web design, SEO, PPC, social media, content and HubSpot Support and onboarding) to small to large-sized businesses across all industries in Australia, New Zealand and internationally. You will ultimately be responsible for the sales success of the business.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Lead in the development of sales strategy working together with the Head of Growth
- Engaging with key stakeholders within the business and externally in relation to sales and service functions
- Play a pivotal role in identifying and developing new products and evaluating current offerings' performance
- Achieve sales targets and collaborate with the managing director on monthly and quarterly goals
- Provide an accurate forecast of sales results and continuously management of sales activity – new, renewals and upsells
- Continue to improve and work on pricing & service development
- Perform a current merchant analysis of client's needs and provide a “winning solution”
- Ability to communicate effectively on the phone/zoom/in person; close contracts once all clients’ needs have been identified and addressed
- Ensure timely/accurate recording, tracking and reporting of sales activities and customer/competitive information through our CRM
- Maintain professionalism, personability, and strong work ethics, with a growth mindset and eagerness to collaborate
Sales specific
- Handle new inquiries via phone calls, emails, referrals, events, and form submissions
- Develop proposals in collaboration with the Head of Digital Strategy (HODS)
- Assist in developing and refining services offered to clients
- Optimise services through collaboration with operations and HODS
- Generate and refine sales reports using tools like Databox and prepare monthly/quarterly reports
Requirements:
- Computer literacy across multiple sales and marketing-related programs
- People Management
- Marketing alignment for SQL
- Financial and commercial acumen
- Strong data & analytical skill
- Presentation skills
- Experience in a high-volume telecommunication sales position
- Five-star time management & organisation skills
- Experience in a high volume/fast-paced industry is preferred; experience in identifying prospective clients through various marketing channels
- Digital marketing knowledge and experience preferred: SEO, PPC, Social Media, Content Marketing, Web Development, App Development, E-commerce services
- Experience/knowledge using the following platforms: HubSpot, Semrush (SEO tools), Google Analytics, ClickUp, Qwilr,
- Be adept at building relationships with clients and be on the lookout for client opportunities
- Strong team player with a “’can-do” attitude and passion for excellence; self-started, self-motivated and independent
- Excellent phone manner and articulation (confidence and sense of humour are a huge plus!)
- Results-oriented and eager to succeed
- Strong negotiation skills, persistence and resilience
- A positive attitude with a desire to constantly improve
- Ability to multi-task and comfortable interacting with other departments
