The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities from both existing and new customers within a designated sales territory. Candidates will achieve targets by managing, building, and developing a pipeline of sales opportunities. This will be accomplished through following up on qualified leads generated by the Demand Generation and/or Sales Development organization, as well as through outbound lead generation from targeted prospect and customer lists. Candidates will also be expected to cold-call and prospect to achieve their sales goals.

Territory Sales Representatives will strategically develop and qualify opportunities within their assigned territory and collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives, field-based sales executives, Sales Development Executives, License Compliance teams, and channel partners.
Responsibilities
- Prioritise high-potential target accounts within a defined territory
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to ensure smooth and timely follow-up on sales leads
- Evaluate customer profiles, create value-driven messaging, and execute key steps within account plans
- Generate and close new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline within the assigned sales territory
- Quickly identify decision-makers and influencers, along with their corresponding business needs, timelines, and budgets
- Understand and address prospects' and customers' needs by clearly articulating how Autodesk solutions can accelerate their business success
- Leverage telephone, email, and web-based communication as primary methods for connecting with customers
- Partner with field-based Territory Sales Executives as appropriate
- Build and develop strong relationships with channel partners to enhance overall territory performance and exceed customer expectations
- Assemble the appropriate team for each opportunity, coordinating Autodesk personnel (including pre-sales, consultants, and service teams) to drive value for clients
- Provide accurate and timely billing forecasts and sales updates to managers
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets/quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, including selling complex technology solutions in an inside sales or office-based sales environment
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage challenging situations while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude
- Strong work ethic; team-oriented, self-starter with high energy and results-driven mindset. Experience in database management is a plus
- Solid business acumen and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Proven experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders to influence strategic business outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles effectively
- Commitment to improving sales skills through on-the-job coaching, self-learning, and Autodesk's career progression framework
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets, quotas, and KPIs
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
- Experience in pre-sales and/or technical product sales is an advantage
- Background in manufacturing and/or construction industries is a plus

- Receives minimal instruction for day-to-day work and general guidance for new assignments
