About the role
The Platform Product Owner leads cross-functional squads within a specific Platform to deliver products and outcomes that meet our customers’ needs and deliver business value, in line with risk appetite. They represent a step-change in how we prioritise work and maintain a safe, secure and scalable platform. Product Owners leverage a unique set of skills to set clear missions, prioritise work, and enable their Squads.
What you'll do
- Own and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer needs
- Prioritise and refine the product backlog in collaboration with delivery teams to maximise value
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, communicate progress, and drive alignment
- Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure smooth product delivery
- Leverage market trends and user insights to enhance product innovation and performance
- Ensure compliance with governance, security, and regulatory requirements while maintaining platform effectiveness
What you'll bring
- 5+ years technology experience with 3+ years’ experience in leading people and teams
- Proven leadership capabilities including fostering productive team dynamics and coaching
- Experienced technology background and product management knowledge
- Excellent relationship building at all levels, communication and influencing abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical skills in managing change and run of technology assets
