About the role
The Environment and Release Lead is responsible for overseeing the delivery, configuration, and management of non-production environments, ensuring their stability, security, and efficiency. This role acts as the central coordination point for technical release activities working closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless provisioning, environment readiness, and adherence to governance and compliance standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to optimising non-production environments.
What you'll do
- Oversee planning, and delivery of non-production environments including cloud infrastructure
- Ensure environment readiness, governance compliance, and integration with Suncorp platforms
- Manage and optimise DevOps activities, including release pipelines and automation
- Coordinate issue triaging, defect resolution, and environment stability
- Provide leadership updates on status, risks, and key milestones
What you'll bring
- 8+ years of experience in Release/Delivery Management within large-scale Agile environments
- 5+ years of leadership experience coordinating release activities for enterprise projects
- Proven background in SaaS implementations for enterprise workflow applications
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure and security in large-scale enterprises
- Strong industry-specific experience within Insurance or similar sectors
