The role is required to lead a small team and refine and implement the Automation Strategy across several platform teams, expanding the automation footprint to a high level of maturity. The role will require senior stakeholder management, presenting and reporting.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Senior stakeholder management, presenting and reporting ROI & complex metrics
- Manage automation resources to automate progression and regression test cases
- Adopt and drive an Automation 1st Policy
- Hiring Automation resources as required
- Build a centralised Automation Community of Practice to support teams with automation maturity
- Build out automation, hands on, applying best practices, ensuring roadmap milestones are met
- Increase coverage with automation assets compared to manual assets
- Set up Production automation and automated reporting to stakeholders
- Refine the existing Automation framework. Define and implement roadmaps that deliver on expected automation outcomes for all teams
- Recommend improvements such as open source tooling and resource requirements to provide cost benefits
Who are you?
- Solid working knowledge of code branching and sequencing
- Extensive experience working with Github and multiple automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, Playwright
- Strong negotiation skills with a desire to innovate
- Solid understanding of technology operations and strategy
- Extensive experience leading teams both on and offshore, hiring automation resources as
- Project Management experience is not required but beneficial
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and a strong ability to manage senior relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proactive, high attention to detail, with ability to meet aggressive deadlines with commitment to quality
- Team player, willing to help where and when needed
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
